The Dia de Los Muertos Parade, organized by Mercado on Fifth and sponsored by Group O, has become an annual tradition that brings the vibrant spirit of Dia de Los Muertos to the heart of Moline, IL. This year, the event promises to be even more special, with a focus on collaboration and community involvement.
Maria Ontiveros, Group O Corporate Liaison, is not only a driving force behind the parade but also a member of the Greater Quad Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. While it may seem like a somber occasion, Dia de Los Muertos is, in fact, a joyful and colorful celebration of life and a time to honor and remember deceased loved ones.
