Vistra’s 2024 Nexus Award
Group O was recognized as a leader in supply chain diversity with Vistra’s 2024 Nexus Award, honoring its commitment to a diverse workforce, inclusive supplier practices, and sustainable business operations. As one of only 82 nationally certified NMSDC Corporate Plus members, Group O prioritizes diversity across its 1,000 employees, vendors, and suppliers. The award also highlights Group O’s long-standing partnership with TXU, which began in 2018 and includes fulfillment and customer engagement support for programs such as Welcome and Anniversary Rewards, delivering more than 50,000 rewards annually, as well as special initiatives like employee vaccination reward cards and promotional merchandise. As a minority-owned business, Group O continues to advance workforce diversity—43% of its staff is of diverse ethnicity—while maintaining an active Supplier Diversity Program focused on delivering greater efficiency, value, and impact for clients.
Caterpillar — Supplier Quality Excellence Process Certification
Group O Supply Chain Solutions received a Caterpillar Supplier Quality Excellence Process (SQEP) Gold certification for its work in packaging and distributing CAT coolant worldwide — raising Group O's total to 34 SQEP certifications since 2007, including one Platinum certification. The SQEP certification is a part of Caterpillar’s commitment to delivering high-quality, durable equipment and products to its customers. Group O is one of only 18 suppliers in Caterpillar's worldwide supplier base (totaling more than 10,000) that has ever received the Platinum-level certification.
MillerCoors — 2012 Brewery Operations Supplier of the Year
MillerCoors selected Group O as its 2012 Brewery Operations Supplier of the Year. Chosen from more than 10,000 MillerCoors suppliers, the award recognizes Group O's contributions in areas such as quality, service, cost, safety, corporate responsibility, and innovation. Group O provides MillerCoors with secondary packaging materials and load containment analysis and improvement services.
Pella Corporation — Preferred Supplier
Group O Packaging Solutions received a preferred supplier award from Pella Corporation, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of premium quality windows and doors. The award is based on five categories: time, cost, quality, customer service and lean supplier performance.
Enterprise Efficiency Award
Group O has earned an Enterprise Efficiency Award from a retail fulfillment client in recognition for its work in recovering more than $750,000 in used electronics from their stores. The award recognizes suppliers for outstanding contributions in helping them to reduce costs and improve efficiency across its organization.
