Group O GHG Emissions Target Setting and Goals:
Group O is committed to reducing its environmental impact by setting targets for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction.
Group O Inc. is committed to reducing its absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 63.0% by 2033, using 2018 as the base year. Additionally, Group O Inc. aims to reduce its absolute scope 3 GHG emissions by 37.5% within the same timeframe.
Additionally, we are dedicated to achieving net zero emissions from our operations by 2050, ensuring that our activities have minimal negative impact on the environment.
We want to ensure that our goals are rigorous and in line with scientific recommendations, Group O actively participates in the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi). Our GHG reduction targets are established in alignment with SBTi guidelines, demonstrating our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
As outlined in our Supplier Code of Conduct, our suppliers are also expected to comply with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and standards, and to develop business practices in alignment with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
