Energy conservation kits save energy and money.
Situation
Franklin Energy, a Wisconsin-based energy consulting company, helps small businesses and homeowners save energy and money through energy consultations and coordinating the distribution of complimentary energy conservation kits on behalf of their energy provider client.
Despite the added challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and a significant number of employees working from home, the company had a goal to significantly increase the distribution of kits to help support energy savings in 2020.
Action
To meet Franklin Energy’s goal, Group O ramped up its call center outreach efforts by contacting thousands of companies directly to inform them that they are eligible for the program.
In addition, Group O verified that the kits arrived on time and with the proper materials, as well as conducted post-installation surveys to ensure the kits were installed properly.
To round out Group O’s services to Franklin, these same call center agents also spent time confirming and setting up home energy consultation appointments for residential customers of the same client.
Results
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of Group O employees, Franklin Energy was able to hit its “stretch goal” for kits distributed, customers served, and kilowatt-hours of energy saved. Franklin Energy, in a congratulatory message to Group O, noted the work helped clients save 6,249,200 KWH and thousands of dollars through successful energy assessments.
